A small wooden cubby door sits beneath a staircase, half‑hidden in the shadows. The wood is warm and worn, carved with faint swirls of stars, vines, and musical notes. A tiny brass knob glints softly. Above the door, painted in gentle strokes, are the words: “For the curious.”

It feels like a secret only children and child‑hearted grown‑ups can see.
