Fall Color Code for Adult T-shirts
Have you seen the gorgeous fall color selection for grown‑ups on Malika Bourne Legacy? Comfort Colors offers some of the most beautiful garment‑dyed shades — but they can be a little mischievous behind the scenes. When I added all the fun names (Butter, Blue Spruce, Brick, Citrus, Hemp, Ivory, Pepper, Sage, Terracotta, Yam, Expresso…), the system got overwhelmed and the color buttons stopped coordinating. That means the swatches you click may not match the real shirt tone.
Some colors are also extremely popular, so availability can change from day to day. I can cross my fingers for luck, but that’s not very scientific.
Every problem has a solution, and I found one. I created a Fall Color Code guide that shows the real tones — photographed by me — so you can choose your favorites without relying on unstable previews. Just remember: don’t try to match a tablecloth or bridesmaid dresses. Every screen displays color differently.
Color Note: Comfort Colors garments are dyed in small batches, which means every shirt has its own unique tone. Screens also love to exaggerate, so the shade you see online may look a little warmer or cooler in person. If your tee arrives with a slightly different hue than the sample, that’s completely normal for garment‑dyed cotton — it’s part of the charm and character of this style.
