Strength takes many forms. Our Awareness Collection supports MA4MS (Martial Arts for Multiple Sclerosis) — a resource hub created by David Ellinger, an accomplished martial artist whose MS diagnosis never stopped his mission.

Our Awareness Collection is dedicated to strength, resilience, and the communities that lift each other up. Every item in this collection supports MA4MS (Martial Arts for Multiple Sclerosis) — a nonprofit resource hub created by martial artist and web developer David Ellinger.

David began experiencing MS symptoms as young as age eight, but was not diagnosed until age 28. After losing the ability to walk, he used the web‑development skills he had built earlier in life to create MA4MS — a place where people living with MS can find martial arts instructors who understand their needs. Unlike many nonprofit organizations, MA4MS receives no outside funding. David is not paid, reimbursed, or supported by grants. For years, he personally covered all operating expenses from his disability income, determined to keep the resource alive for others.

Today, confined to a hospital bed, David continues guiding martial arts instructors across the country on how to support students with MS. He remains connected to top‑ranking studios and helps students reclaim confidence, movement, and community — all without compensation.

This Shopify store now donates the time and creativity to design and set up each t-shirt for the printer then picks up the production costs and costs of doing business so that MA4MS incurs no expenses in the process of making one of the awareness t-shirts. Every awareness item is created as a labor of love, with no fees collected for time or effort. This work is offered freely — a gift of service — so that every penny can go directly toward keeping the MA4MS website running and accessible for the next person who needs it.
