About Malika Bourne Legacy

I didn't start designing children's clothing from a trend report. I started because I'm a great-grandmother of four boys — ages 9 months to 8 years — and I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Not for them. Not for my granddaughters either.

What I kept finding was adult humor on tiny shirts. Sarcastic phrases on a size 4T. Designs that had nothing to do with the child wearing them.

So I made my own.

Every piece in this shop starts with a real child in mind — curious, joyful, and deserving of something beautiful. My boutique watercolor designs are intentionally age-appropriate. Sweet for the little ones. Expressive for the older girls. And for boys, infants through age 7, I design from lived experience — because I know exactly what they love.

This store is also built on something bigger. A portion of what we do here supports MA4MS — Martial Arts for Multiple Sclerosis, founded by my son David, who was a martial artist before MS changed his life. He still builds, still creates, still calls dojos across the country to connect MS patients with supportive instructors. That's the legacy this store is named for.
