Every collection has a beginning, and the Baby Buds™ started with a simple moment: a tiny cheetah sitting sweetly on my screen, waiting for her story. That was Chica — the spark that lit the whole idea.
Once Chica arrived, Ella followed with her soft laugh and gentle presence. Chico came next, standing tall and ready for his assignment. Before I knew it, I had a trio lined up like students at their lockers, waiting for their permanent records to be filled out.
Creating their posters was a quiet joy. I resized, centered, adjusted spacing, and let each character tell me who they were. Chica sits; Chico stands; Ella glows. Their personalities shaped their taglines, and their taglines shaped the tone of the entire collection.
The mug shots came next — simple 1000×1000 tiles that capture each Baby Bud’s essence. These little squares became the foundation for their RPA sheets, their “files,” and their future stories.
This collection is more than art. It’s worldbuilding. It’s character‑building. It’s the beginning of a gentle universe where little ones feel seen, soothed, and delighted.
