Sizing & Special Requests

Sizing & Special Requests

At Malika Bourne Legacy, I believe gifts should feel personal, comfortable, and accessible. If you or your loved one has special sizing needs, sensory considerations, or accessibility requirements, I am happy to help whenever possible.

I welcome requests related to:

  • extended sizes

  • gentler fits

  • sensory‑friendly options

  • tag‑free or low‑texture alternatives

  • mobility or comfort needs

  • neurodivergent‑friendly color or pattern choices

If you need adjustments or guidance, please reach out before ordering so I can check availability with my print partners.

MA4MS — A Brief Note

You may notice a small collection of MA4MS shirts in my store. I carry these designs to help raise awareness and generate a little income toward the operating costs of the MA4MS website. These funds help cover essentials such as the domain name and servers — expenses that David, my son and the founder of MA4MS, currently pays out of pocket, including both MA4MS.org and MalikaBourne.com.

MA4MS is gradually adding more resources for families who need adaptive support, including referrals to trusted companies that offer specialized clothing solutions. My store simply provides a gentle way to help keep that mission going.

Referral Partners for Adaptive Clothing

While I do not create medical‑adaptive clothing, I gladly refer families to companies whose work complements mine. These trusted brands offer specialized solutions for mobility challenges, dressing difficulties, sensory needs, and brace‑friendly wear.

Silverts Adaptive Clothing Anti‑strip jumpsuits, open‑back pants, wheelchair‑friendly cuts, and diaper‑friendly one‑piece solutions.

IZ Adaptive Seated‑fit pants, brace‑friendly trousers, pull‑on adaptive jeans, and mobility‑specific designs.

Buck & Buck Snap‑front shirts, open‑back garments, and assisted‑dressing clothing for caregiver support.

Joe & Bella Adaptive Soft, simple, easy‑dress everyday wear for fatigue‑friendly dressing.

Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive Magnetic closures, sensory‑friendly seams, and fashion‑forward adaptive wear.

These companies offer services I do not provide. My work focuses on fun, simply pretty, and age‑appropriate designs sized with care — while they provide specialized adaptive solutions for daily living.

Your questions are important to me. Please allow 24 to 72 hours for a reply. I usually respond very quickly during normal business hours and during my work sprints, which I weave around full‑time caregiving in our home. If I’m assisting my son or managing medical routines, there may be a short delay — but I will always get back to you as soon as I can.
